    Hi,
I am gonna buy one and i wanted to hear if anyone had experienced the well known electric shock issue with. It will be also nice to hear from someone who doesnt have this problem with his 260p/c.

anyhow, does anyone know why this model aint sold on sonystyle.com anymore? is it a bad model?

    Please see my guide.
Premium second gen models should not experience this problem.
This is one mostly associated with the earliest standard first gen models.

And, it's a retail model, that's why it isn't sold in SonyStyle.

If you get the 260, you pay several hundred more dollars for 20 more GB of HD space and 1 GB instead of 512 MB. The HD space is sufficient, and it's easy to upgrade RAM yourself, with either another 512 MB or 2x 1GB sticks.

    Right, $170 more.
RAM installed in SZ250: 256 x 256. So if later on need tp upgrade to 1GB, must replace with 2 slots, which may cost around $120.
    Tks

The lowest price of the 250 I could find (with free DDR2 1GB RAM) is 2,099.
    What about the 260?

I have 1 gig (2 x 512mb) I took out of my SZ260 when I bought it that I would like to sell. I posted it on Craigslist.com for $75. Let me know if you would be interested. I would be happy to send you more info if need be.
