I just ran "System Info" on my SZ110/B and got the following information which confirms the prior posts of the SZ having 128MB of dedicated Video
    RAM.

Could some of you that have other models of the SZ run this program and post the results? The programs is accessed by clicking START->ALL PROGAMS->ACCESSORIES->SYSTEM TOOLS->SYSTEM INFORMATION, or just type "msinfo32" from the windows command line. Once in the program, navigate to the 'Components' section, and click on the 'Display' button. Thanks to all!

Sorry to say but the 128MB from msinfo doesn't say anything about how much dedicated video memory the card has. On my S5XP (Geforce 6400) it says 256MB Video RAM and it definitely doesn't have that much but rather only 32MB.

I suspect the 7400 will have 32MB or maybe a bit more as well. I mean if your card would have 128MB dedicated, you wouldn't be taking any RAM from the System hence not using the Turbocache feature, which is definitely unlikely..

If true, does that mean the Turbocache setting is unchangeable? Shouldn't the Nvidia settings tell you something?

The Nvidia Settings unfortunately don't say anything about Turbocache size or dedicated RAM. On the Geforce 6400 it would switch from a total of 128MB RAM to 256MB when you upgraded the system memory to 1GB from 512MB, the 7400 should probably have the same feature.. not that it makes that big of a difference though.

Interesting. It just grabs the RAM and you pretty much don't have anything to say about it. Does the GMA 950 do the same thing? Maybe you can set a limit thru the bios?
It really doesn't make much of a difference beyond Sony's marketing team but it sure as hell would be nice to know exactly what is in the thing.
