    In a minute! Yes, go for it. The cheapest SZ I've seen was $1449 with minimal specs (1.66 dual core, 512 mb ram, CDRW, 40 gig HDD). As long as you're not getting a core solo you're golden.

    Now, are there any more kicking around at that price or is it one of those mythic office depot clearance deals?

    EDIT: Just googled it and it looks like the SZ110/B (1.83, 1gig, 100g, dvd burner) goes for ~$1700 on pricegrabber, without the warranty.

    these are store displays...so i expect there will be some cosmetic glitches but no biggie for me!

    If you can only get that price with the warranty, you can return just the warranty at another office depot store. I did that for my sz110b a couple weeks ago, no problems.
