I just check my trading post today, they had a used SZ330 for $.400 but its locked with the fingerprint scanner... and i asked why they bought it like that? and they said that the owner first show them that it works? he was so high that he leaves without disabling it. Is it possible to unlocked it? and is $400 worth it?

Sounds shady if you ask me....I always used to be overly alert and paranoid when I was high, their story doesn't add up.

You may be able to format the HD or replace it, not sure if it's locked in the BIOS or whatnot. If it is locked in the BIOS I don't think much can be done.

It asks for password or fingerprint just after the Sony logo screen. Not in windows?

do you think its worth the time & money to buy this?
and for your info, those people at the trading post works with police. every evening the police will come in and check all the receipt of their purchases.
And for example if somebody go their and find his stolen item and they have a receipt, he can call the cops and the cops will refund the trading post their money back. And the cops will get one criminal out of the street, since you only sell your item with a valid drivers licensing.
