Dont think Sony will update their new SZ to Santa Rose that soon as I found this on the web. Both new models still come with Go7400, so sad :(

Are you referring to the HK website? I know China's Sony "refresh" just rebadged their SZs by upgrading the hdd only, sticking a 2 at the end of their current models. eg. SZ452N. If memory serves correctly some European sites have listed model as SZ5xx. I suppose it's only a regional difference in naming.

I may go pick up an SZ483 within the next few days...and maybe get the black keyboard upgraded to a silver one - I think it looks much nicer with the gunbolt aluminum palmrest.

For the SZ483, it come with 2GB RAM instead of 1GB in the SZ48. Both using Go7400, not much changes I guess. May be Sony is worry about Dell's 13'3, hope they will come out a new design with SZ :)

SZ Santa Rosa is merely probability. The upgraded video chip as well. the AR series, or other vaio gaming series might get SRs with upgraded video chips. SZ is too rigid to fit in such power with video updgrades. but let's see. :)
