    Hi,

    I was browsing the forums and realised that people are installing Win 7 on their SZ notebooks. However when I went to Sony Singapore and Asia Pacific, I could not find any supported drivers for Win 7

    Can I install Win 7 on the SZ79GN? If yes, where can I get the correct drivers please?

    Hello dashel,

    You won't find any support provided by Sony (directly). I did a clean install of Windows 7 on my SZ650N and almost all drivers were correctly installed. Those that weren't, I used the drivers for Win Vista and it worked perfectly.

    At this site, you can find the original SZ7 drivers:
