    Hi guys,

I am wondering what options are there to upgrade the 512MB that come with the T250P. I went on Kingston's site and it said the RAM configuration is one slot and unremoveable. Does that mean this unit is stuck with 512MB or can it be upgraded? Thanks a lot!

Is there anything online that can give me instructions on how to do this...like a service manual? Thanks!

Hmmm..I just saw pictures and it seems like the T250 already has a 512 in the RAM slot? So buying another 512 won't make it 1GB since it won't fit? The only way is to acutally buy a 1GB and replace it with the existing 512MB?

T250 has two MicroDIMM slots, with one of them (the one that is harder to get to) occupied by the factory supplied 512 MB RAM. You can buy another 512 MB for the other slot to make it 1 GB. If you buy a 1 GB, then your total will be 1.5 GB.

As for the instruction, it's in the electronic user manual that comes with the laptop. You can also find a copy of this manual in Sony Supoort website.

It is true, I removed the Keyboard after first removing some screws on the bottom. Then I added 512 MB RAM and not the computer says I have 1 GB RAM.
