I’m trying to get a solid confirmation that the US models of the Vaio Z13 actually has a TPM encryption chip.

I haven’t found any official written specs or confirmation on Sony's web site that US models of the Z13 have a TPM chip. The only indication on Sony's sites the availability of a TPM driver on the driver download page for the Z13 (as mentioned in previous posts), but this doesn’t indicate that the chip is available in all US models or specify which models actually have the chip.

Has anyone ordered and received a USA Z13 configure-to-order (VPCZ1390X CTO ) and can confirm that it indeed has a TPM chip in it?

I would also be curious anyone has a any US Z13 model that has the TPM chip.

    I really appreciate it.

The only real world use for most people is BitLocker. You'll need to upgrade to ultimate to get it though.
