I searched a lot but could not get an answer. I am looking for a part number or a location to purchase the DVD ROM door cover, the silver bezel on the right side.

Anyone know a place to buy one or the part number to search for?

    Thank you for your help.

I found one in Ebay but it is 45 bucks. I believe it should be no more than 20.

Notebook parts are hard to come by, unless it's a Dell . If it's a reputable dealer on eBay, and if it's OEM, I would give it a shot. I would recommend the Sony Parts website, but I don't think consumers have the access to buy parts such as that from there.

I bought many items for my S and SZ from sony parts website, but all of them I knew the product names/codes.

    Now I have no clue.

If you can get them from *here*, I doubt it will be any cheaper than the eBay route... but if it is, let us know... and let me know how you get those parts. I have a few I'd really like to order from Sony OEM.
