This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Does anyone know if it is possible and how you would go about hooking up your computer to your tv cable so that you can record tv. I know that the xp media center pc's can do that but im not sure about what kind of hardware is needed, and i am running vista business. Im just curious. Thanks in advance

    you need special video card, to catch the video from camcorder or TV. unfortunatelu it's exist only for desctop computers, not for notebook. IMHO it's impossible.
