    What is the maximum EXTERNAL monitor resolution that the TX 7x and new 8x series can support on an external display?

    I've looked everywhere I can think of including support docs on sony's site and can't find this information.

    Thanks for the info. This is disappointing.

    It doesn't seem anyone makes an ultra-portable that can support 1920x1200 (24"'ish monitors).

    Seems you always have to sacrifice at least one feature when we you get a laptop regardless of the price you are willing to pay.
