I have a Sony VGNTX80P and I am considering getting a 22 inch widescreen monitor to use regularly as an external monitor. 1680 x 1024 is the target resolution. I don't believe Windows will allow you to see that capability unless a monitor able to do it is connected. I would appreciate any comments. I would like not to have to go to a store display and try it to be sure. Thanks.
