Hi, this is my first post here, and of course I have a problem ;)

I have a TXN27N that I've had several months, but didn't use much until now. The machine has 2GB RAM, 1.33GHz Core Solo, and ghastly slow 4200rpm 100GB drive.

I have trouble with the keys not registering as I type. I don't think the problem is with the keyboard. It seems like the computer gets "behind" and misses stuff in the keyboard buffer. It doesn't take much of a load on the machine to cause the problem. It makes typing text -- and especially masked passwords -- frustrating.

Is this a "known" problem with the TX series? And if so, have people found ways to get better performance that prevents this problem with typing?

I have a few other questions about quirky things the TX does, but I'll save those for appropriately-titled threads.

    Thanks,
    Peter

I have this issue occasionally with my SZ460N. It seems to happen most often in web based text boxes such as the one I'm typing in right now. Gmail is especially touchy. For me, I'm pretty sure it has something to do with internet security settings and vista but I haven't played around with it. Also, if the processor is running it can get aggravated. I believe it's more of a Vista thing than a Sony thing.
