I use Yadis plus a memory stick for realtime backups.

Formatting the memory stick, no matter what I do it comes up 3.45GB. I tried a second one with the same result.

Is this a problem with the laptop? With the driver? Or is it yet another case of "live with it"?

    Thanks, gurus

Did you format it using FAT16 or FAT32?
Or could it be you need to upgrade your card reader's driver?

Driver is Texas Instruments 1.0.0.1, which appears to be current and cannot be upgraded.

Regarding FAT16 or 32, which is correct? Only choice is FAT32.

Right - thanks. I did that, downloading and installing two files related to memory cards. Even after rebooting, the memory stick won't allow formatting above 3.45GB. What am I doing wrong?
