I'm trying to use a new TX770 with an external monitor when I'm in the office. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like the TX770 detects when an external monitor is plugged in, so every time I want to use it I have to open up the laptop, wait to boot and log in, change the configuration to external monitor only, and then change the display resolution to match my monitor.

This is too much to do every time I connect to my monitor. Does anyone have any suggestions? Some of the other laptops I have used are much more plug-n-play friendly, where they will detect that a monitor is plugged in as well as the resolution to be used.

Thanks for any help in advance,
