    Hello,

I've been using this forum for the past couple of weeks for getting my vista installation perfected...and so i've done so with only one minor problem/annoyance, so I decided to join the forum to help other members and have some good ol' notebook fun

I'm not sure if any of you remember or have noticed, but there was a feature in Windows XP to change the settings of the notebook so when the notebook was unplugged/plugged in, the screen brightness was dimmed/brightened automatically. Does anyone know why it has been disabled in vista? or any fixes?

    Thanks in advance

How you upgrade your system to Vista, are you upgrade from Sony Vista Express Upgrade?

that features belong to Power Management setting.

For using VAIO Power Management you need to install Sony Shared Library, Sony Utils Lib, Sony Notebook control, and Vaio Event Service (install in order)

I see missing the Vaio Power Management on the list.

By default the setting is the same for plug/unplug AC adapter. (max brightness)
