    Hi there :)
Can somebody tell me which is the brand of the Hard Drive on TXN25N/B?
And is possible to be replaced with faster hard drive because 4200 rpm is too slow?
    Thanks :)

Sony is using the 1.8" type of HDDs on the TXs & buying one such HDD is not only expensive but the only speed available is only 4,200rpm.

I just talked to someone from Proportable and he said he found a 5400 rpm 1.8" hard drive for his U1F. I was surprised by that as I have only seen 4200 rpm drives.

One option is SSDs, but they are very rare and expensive currently and in small capacities as well.

Thanks guys :) The size of HDD 60-80-100 what ever is not important for me but the speed - yes. Can you give me a brand please

The most widely available 1.8" HDDs are made by Toshiba & even that is quite hard to find. Note that they are 4,200rpm. Even if you do find out, you'll noticed that it costs a lot more than the "standard" 2.5" notebook drives.

IMHO, unless you need more space, I wouldn't recommend replacing the HDD drive at this point in time. I mean given the price-to-performance ratio, you're better off spending those money somewhere else or better yet, save that amount to be used in your future laptop purchase.
