    Hello people :)
    I just unpack my TXN25N/B with Vista Business and the result is terrible. Can i change Vista with XP Pro? Because the drivers have ,,model check,, is not possible to use the drivers for this model under XP :( From were i can download drivers for TXN25 but for XP Pro?

    The notebook is too slow. I remove so much bloatware but is still slower. Vista is for more powerfull processors. I think that with XP will be faster

    May I ask why you have a North American model? Yes, you can change it to XP Pro, there's a guide in this section here somewhere, you'll have to get the drivers for the older XP based TXs.

    Because www.bhphotovideo.com have this model. In Europe this model costs1/3 more money :)
    Is not possible to use drivers for TXN15 for example because drivers have ,,model check,,.

    I agree as well...the TXN25 sucks. I think I will attempt to install XP tonight... I'll post my results as soon as I finish.

    Unknown27, before 10 minutes i install clean Vista. Without bloatware of Sony TXN25 working fine :)

    Yeah I installed all the bloat ware as well but it's still slow as hell. This version just isn't spec'd out to run Vista efficiently. At least up to my standards.

    I upgraded my TXN15P to Vista Business with the Sony supplied upgrade disc and I loved it! It actually seemed a little more responsive. Supposedly it was because of how much better Vista manages system resources. The TXN's are not very fast in the first place.
