I recently pruchased the TXN27CN, I find that after I swipe my finger to login, it take around 15 seconds for it to go through. During the 15 seconds it will say something like "cryptography in progress". Has anyone else experience this delay or is it normal considering the CPU speed?

    Thanks,

    JD

I have my TX read my print at the BIOS level to enter my BIOS User and Hard Drive passwords and then Vista when it boots. All of this takes a total of one swipe from any registered digit and there is no delay. This was before the recent BIOS update from Sony and no delay afterwards either.

Well, not counting the Vista boot delay.

He is talking about BIOS's Fingerprint Logon (Before Loading OS).
