Wow I just stopped looking into computers for some months and now I checked the specs of the SZ791 and it almost makes me wanna sell my TZ191 and get one!.... ALMOST... hehe

I have some questions I need help anwering..

1.-my motion eye sometimes wont go on. It says there is a problem, I just restart it and it works fine.. but I dont wanna!

2.-can i upgrade it now to have 3gb ram? I see the new sz has 4gb.. I didnt see if it was 64 bit windows so.. I dont know... I have 32 bit business.

3.-should I put sp1 on my computer? I get some blinking whenever I turn it on or off and Im getting tired of it, also, streaming video is not as good as with older computers, I get stutters on the video sometimes.

thanks! I hope someone can help me :(

The TZ only has one ram slot total and the largest stick for it is 2gb as far as I know.

I can't see how it would hurt, the consensus is that performance increases slightly. If anything goes wrong, use your restore discs (make some if you haven't yet) to go back.

But the best choice IMO would be to go to XP, I downgraded (more like upgraded :) ) to XP in less than two hours after getting mine.

the 791 should have the 9500 not the 9300... the customizable 780 (if that's the number they end up giving it) will be a better computer as it will allow the 9500 processor.
