Looking at purchasing a TZ290 w/ an XBRITE screen / Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 / Intel 945GMS chipset. I realize this is an integrated graphics card and performance may not be great, but I don't plan on doing any gaming, and the size and battery of the TZ is perfect. I have a Gretag Eye-One Pro spectrometer which works great on my lacie monitor but my Dell 700m doesn't want to profile at all, which is why i'm looking for replacement laptop. I'm a photographer and want to be able to proof images in the field, does anyone know how well these monitors are on color accuracy and if spectrometer's will actually provide a decent profile...

Don't know if you are aware of it but Sony's latest series, the Z series comes with 100% color accuracy screens. It might be just what you are looking for.

Thanks, definitely worth looking into. I'm still leaning towards the TZ still due to the size, price, and because XP drivers are available. Has anyone tried to calibrate a TZ?
