    Hi,

I got TZ36gn running on Windows XP. I noticed yesterday that the camera led light was turned on when I boot up my machine. When I tried to use the scanner and camera wizard, it got an error saying that it was unable to take picture. I tried using MSN Live Messenger and Yahoo Messenger for video conference but I can't only see black window while broadcasting. I also checked the camera in Device Manager and it only say the device is working properly. I updated the drivers thinking it might be an issue with it. Right now I'm stuck.

Is it really an issue now with my camera hardware? Please advise thanks.

Does it light up immediately when you turn it on?

    if it does,
I have seen this issue before but I cant remember if it was the camera, the camera cable or the micro fuse on the motherboard. I think it was the camera. Anyway, most likely hardware if it does turn on immediately upon pressing the power button. Has this TZ had the recall work done yet? The camera gets replaced as part of the recall on most TZ models.
