    TZ HD into a USB Enclosure

    I've taken the 100 GB hard drive out of my TZ to try to retrieve the data. I picked up one of these USB caddies thinking it would do the job:

    Unfortunately, the connector is a ZIF, and entirely different. Anyone had any luck finding something compatible?

    there is a guy on ebay who sells aluminum 1.8" zif enclosures for like 15 bux shipped.. he ships same day too.

    yup, working on recovery discs now... man I can't believe how slow this thing runs out of the box with all the bloat... incredible...

    Yea - there is absolutely a ton of crapware - what type of install are you going to do? I have Ultimate and want to put it on the machine but cannot find the sony software like the Shared Library, Notebook Utilities etc. Do you know where to find those?
