I just got my TZ back after having a new toshiba 100gb HDD installed in it. It kind of seems like the left side of the touchpad is unusually hot, at least hotter than I remember. Does anyone else feel this area gets hot, or should I be concerned about the new HDD or something?

Ditto - it's warmer than the right side, but not uncomfortably so. I wouldn't have noticed without this thread.

interesting responses. i, too, don't even remember it being warm before being serviced. now it's warm in the bottom right corner and pretty hot right next to where the 2 usb ports are.

should this be cause for concern? what could be heating up so much? isn't that where the HDD sits more or less?
