    Hi guys,

I'm pretty sure this is some kind of setting to preserve battery life or something but does it really save the battery life? If not how the heck to I change it back to charge to 100%? I have searched and searched and can't figure out how to fix it..... Or is it good to just leave it to that setting?

It's the "Battery Care Function" in Sony laptops, you can get there through Start > All Programs > VAIO Control Center > Categories > Power Management .

yes I know, but I just found out that P1 took it out of there recovery and before I did the restore I tried the selection and forgot to change it back so now it's stuck that way. Thankfully P1 is going to talk me threw fixing it... What is the point anyway of the 80%? You just have to charge it more w/is worse for the battery isn't it?
