TZ owners: how's the plastic on your keys, keyboard bezel, and trackpad holding up?

Are these parts wearing out/smoothing out/scratching for you?

I did get the CooSkin keyboard cover, but the silicon is wearing out on that as well (getting hazy on heavily used spots), not to mention how much of a travesty its ugliness is to the beauty of the TZ.

Anyone also using a trackpad protector? Mine's already starting to smooth out. Would prefer a matte, textured finish on the protector.

Well, have all you guys just resigned yourselves to having these part wear out? Should I just give up and expect these parts to go, and stop trying to keep my TZ perfect? Considered just letting them wear out and then replacing them, but keyboard with bezel costs $120--don't think I'm that crazy.

Maybe I'm a bit paranoid, but a month ago, I was really considering the TZ, but bought something else because the TZ looked so fragile. For instance, the cylindrical hinges could develop hairline cracks after repeated opening and closing of the lid.....

Maybe some TZ owners could chime in on this as well...

I have had my TZ since January and the touchpad and buttons I've used on the keyboard have been worn out and smooth. I also have marks on the glossy edges surrounding the keyboard.

I used to worry about the cosmetic defects as well when I first got it but won't keep it forever, it will soon be replaced (early next year the latest and probably by a Z). :)

The only thing that actually bugs me is a small permanent dark spot on the LCD, hard to notice thankfully. It must have come from when I foolishly transported the TZ in my backpack without a case. :(
