I was wondering why the TZ's standard and extended batteries have less mah capacity than those of the TXs? Why did Sony take a step backwards here when they kept moving ahead or staying the same from TR to T to TX? Plus, the
C2Ds take more juice than the Solos.

Also, how does its battery life compare to the TXs? I'm sure the TX's beat it (probably the only thing they beat their successor at), but how much is the difference?

I only know the TZ offers about 9 hours of juice.. the only people needing more than that would be lost in a deserted island.

i just got a "high capacity power products" extended battery (B-5816H) for my new (to me) TX770p, and I was able to run 8 hours with a screen brightness of 7 out of 9 with 10% remaining on the battery. i was using it constantly other than a few breaks all day for work, using wireless networking, and running several programs.

this 8-10 hours that they say you can get on the standard battery is only if you want to go blind with your screen dimmed all the way down.

I'd expect taht the SSD models of the TZ would show significantly higher battery life.
