It's probably some setting(s) but I have had no success getting my TZ to come out of sleep mode -- whenever I restart from sleep (suspend) mode the fingerpint reader doesn't work, any USB-connected HD or flash drives don't work and oftentimes I end up with a hangup so my only recourse is to shut it down with the on/off switch and reboot. Can anyone suggest where I can find solutions -- I've search both the Sony database and MS Knowledge Base but none of the "solutions" offered seem to work.

    Thanks!

err...I've actually been getting the same problem lately, yet I can't recover from sleep mode period! I get the blue screen or vista restarts and says it crashed from a previous session. However I don't get this problem when I hibernate, just sleep. Can anyone clue me in on this?

How do you hibernate? I don't have a choice to do that, just sleep? I've been trying to find an answer to that as well.
