I got VGN-TZ190. It comes with 32GB SSD. Someone please suggest some good SSD I can get 64GB/128GB to upgrade the disk.

    Thanks

What is your budget? What do you plan on using it for? What do you expect from the upgrade (do you want better battery life, etc.)?

Samsung SLC 64GB SSD is the most cost effective ($200) and reliable solution. Not the fastest, but definitely better than any laptop hard drive out there and doesn't suffer from problems associated with other cheap SSDs (usually MLC). For performance, Intel X25-M 80GB SSD should fit the bill (almost double the price at $350).

Thanks for the reply and valuable information. I have budget in the range of $300-$400. I want more storage without giving up performance or battery time.

Personally, I think the X25-M 80GB MLC would be your best bet - if 80GB is enough space for you. Another alternative is the OCZ Vertex 120GB MLC for also the same price. It has more space, but I don't know how the drive is. Users here have had good experiences (albeit a bit slower than the Intel) but I know of people who do not. It seems to have higher power consumption than the Intel, but for definite answers, try asking people who own the drive in the new SSD forum.
