First I fully charged the battery detached it for about 20 hours then put it back and for my suprise there was just 94% of battery life.

Anyone else has this problem ?

    Thanks in advance

Batteries will lose charge after a while even if you aren't using them.

This is perfectly normal. Having 94-96% of battery life left after a few hours of sleeping is irritating but quite typical. :)

I actually didn't use the standby mode, I just unplugged the battery from the laptop.

Well, it kind of suprises me because my Acer's batteries didn't do such a thing. I was using one battery for a week then swapped it with another one which was still showing 100%.

Now the question might be, was it really 100% ? :) Not that I don't trust the software, but Acer is Acer if you know what I mean :)

True. They could have a buffer where the battery reads 100% when it reaches X%+, say 95-100% are all shown as 100%. Who knows, though!

There isn't anything to worry about, James. Your battery is fine.

perfectly normal, same thing with my TZ and all electronics that use batteries. Even if off, they will discharge gradually.
