    Hi All,

I've been reading that tap water and mineral water can leave stains on an lcd screen.

However, apple recommends the use of water

So, is tap or mineral water ok to clean the glossy screen of the Sony SZ?

    TIA

    Never use water.

Buy something called MONSTER CLEAN from Radio Shack.

I have never had better results with my Vaio screen.

What about filtered tap water through a Pur/Brita type of filter? I've used it many times on my glossy VAIO SZ screen with no marks or issues.
