    S Series Battery Offer

    Absolutely love it. Had it come on a new SB model (which I returned because the display was poor) but the battery was incredible. To have nearly 15 hours of batttery life available on your laptop without having to swap in another high capacity battery, is genius. Its so slim and fits on the base of the laptop so well, that it doesn't add to the footprint of the machine at all. You dont even notice it.

    Does anyone think this invention will be added to all the other models of Sony laptops? Hopefully replacing the bulky additional high capacity battery concept?

    My understanding is that there will be a sheet battery available for the new Z.

    I'd prefer that Sony just ditch the optical, install a non removable 4 cell battery and then let us choose between 4 and 8 cell batteries. In essence, we'd choose between 8 or 12 cell effective and no need to deal with a slice that adds unnecessary weight.
