    If you want customization, good price, and full reliability/warranty then I hear Portable One is the best. They are authorized to do any changes and it doesn't affect your warranty. Plus they are so big and have so much good feedback that they are seem to be a really safe bet. If you're looking for the best possible price there are some places that are cheaper if you goto pricegrabber.com you can find most of them.

    My SZ680N03 just arrived today and it's kicka$$! I wanted an awesome PRICE and I live in Canada so I need a no hassle retailer that does internation. I bought from Euclid Computers, they are pretty good. They had among the lowest price but also had enough reviews to make me feel relatively comfortable. Service was pretty good. I've very satisfied with the laptop. :D

    Sonystyle stores are the best -- they have promotions in addition to those offered online

    i bought mine yesterday (sz680) -- got a 3 year onsite and accidental plus case and mouse for about $50

    had i gotten the sz650 i could've got that plus instant 200 off (unfortunately they didn't have sz650s in stock)

    That sounds like a good deal. I wish they had that over the phone. I did save 100 bucks over the phone with Sony which helps a lot. I don't have a brick and morter store anywhere so I definitely think that's the way to go. Just don't order online because I don't think you'll save that extra hundred dollars that way. Phone it in.
