    I see that the new Vaio Z2 comes with dual SSD. Is it possible to manually replace the SSD with (1) SSD and (1) hard disk AND set them up as Non RAID? I plan to keep the data/pictures/etc on the hard disk since it's cheap.

    Is it hard to do above?
    I owned Sony VAIO in the past (4-5 years ago), I forgot the model, but I remember that it's quite hard to replace the hard disk. I have to open the keyboard instead of opening cover in the bottom like other laptops do.

    How is the screen compared to Macbook Pro? For 13.1", is it better to order 1600x900 (that I thought would be ideal) or 1920x1080 (I like the buzz of full HD, but I am concern that everything will become too small).

    Please share your opinion since the new Z comes at hefty price. I have to make careful consideration.

    No way you are going to fit an HDD in the Z2. Your only option is to buy the largest SSD you can afford.

    Well concerning the display, I own a VPC-Z1 13,1" 1920*1080
    I'm quite used to it and it is a nice display though everything looks really small.
    But if I buy a new VPC-Z2 I will choose a 1920*1080 once more :)
    It's so nice to have such a space on screen.

    I'd advice you the FHD as I wear glasses and have no problem with it.
    But for some people it may require a lot of concentration which could be exhausting, headache etc...
    If you do not have any problem for reading small medication notices for example, I guess you could go for the FHD, chars are not so small.

    If you want to enjoy full HD movies on the Z's, don't get fooled by the full HD screen. I owned a VGN-Z11 with a 1600*900 monitor, and it's true that FHD movies on the FHD monitor looks terribly sharp, but so does the 1600x900 the difference is really hard to notice. Both looks awesome.

    The 1920x1080 also used to be a better monitor overhaul, better color accuracy and contrast.
    Not sure it's still the same for Z2. It doesn't mention this is a premium monitor, does it ?

    @computercowboy:
    Sony uses 2x64GB/128GB/256GB SSD. My understanding is SSD has 2.5" with 9mm or 7mm height. So I assumed HDD should fit as well? I found online that Hitachi/Seagate, they have 7mm (thin-profile) HDD. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

    It is one 1.8" sandwich drive, like 2 drives in one, PCB only, no casing.
