    Hi,
I'm new to the forum, so hoping to tap into some knowledge!
I have a Sony Vaio AR11S, which is currently connected to a second monitor (Phillips). Is it possible to connect a third monitor?

Check out the Matrox site. They may have some stuff to your liking.

The solution depends on what you want to do. Do you want all three monitors to display DIFFERENT content? Do you want TWO of them to be the same, specifically both external monitors showing the same thing and the laptop with something different? If the first option then the Matrox thing (or similar stuff from ATI and others) will be the way to go. If it's the second one, a simple distibution amp will suffice.

I've looked at the Matrox site. It seems to be geared toward multi screen for gaming. Whereas, I'm looking to add another screen for work, therefore hoping to be able to for example have a browser on one screen a word doc on another and another programme on the 3rd screen. I was hoping to avoid just getting a desktop as the Vaio is 17" as is the attached monitor.....
