    Yes! PC-5300 DDR2 memory spec is 200 pin. DDR3 PC-8500 is 204 pin.

    To bring this to closure.

    I want to thank XGX2007 and Lithus again for all the help. (edited)

    I ordered the 4GB memory from Crucial which was installed and works well despite Crucials instance that this unit will only support 2GB (not the first time I've encountered that) most of the other online sellers say this unit has 240pin memory, which is obviously not correct.

    I also installed the Intel 5300 wlan card and 3rd antenna discussed in another thread.

    I do guess I should come clean and say this isn't a laptop technically, it is a Sony LS-37E "All-In-One", but as you can see the internal architecture most resembles a laptop, so thats why I asked here!

    She's up and running on 5.2GHZ n band, with 4 GB, next comes Win 7, wish me luck!
