SO, I got my Z890 the other day, and I have now started to reformat the thing and get it cleaned up. I've been following Sigma957's guide, and when I try to install the Sony Shared media thing I get the error, "This update can only be run in Windows Vista". What's up with this?

    Thanks in advance!

Right-click the exe then click the Compatibility tab, enable "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and select "Windows Vista (Service Pack 2)" from the drop down menu. It's also a good idea to enable "Run this program as an adminstrator" while you are in the compatibility tab.

In that case, you may need to use Universal Extractor to unpack the Sony install package.

    -Download UniExtract from here: http://legroom.net/software/uniextract
-Extract the Sony installer with UniExtract.
-In the TEMPEXE folder UniExtract creates you will need to find the setup program. It should be named something obvious such as setup.exe or install.exe, etc. It will likely be the one of, if not the only, exe inside that folder.
-Right click the exe and perform the same Compatibility and Administrator actions as in my first reply.
-Run the setup again, using the setup exe in the TEMPEXE folder.
