ok, so until i found out amazon had the sz650s for sale...i was considering the sz680n03. the only differences between the two are:

    sz650n/c:
    - 2gb ram
    - 160gb hybrid hdd

    sz680n03:
    - 1gb ram
    - 120gb hdd

The memory difference isnt significant to me because i have 4gb of ram waiting to be popped in. what i'd really like to know is if the hybrid hdd is really that amazing (or if it works even). this comes at about $30 difference, w/ the 650 being more expensive, but amazon doesnt charge tax to CA iirc for the sz650 and offers free 2 day shipping. so when it all comes out, the sz650 is cheaper since techonweb (which was the cheapest that i found) charges tax for the sz680n03.

    so my question now is....
    1. are there any differences between the sz650n/c and the sz680n03 that i missed out on?

    2. even if the hybrid hdd didnt work...i'd be saving money if i went w/ the sz650. should i just do that and when the h-hdd eventually pisses me off, shoudl i spend the money that i saved by not getting the sz680 and just get a 7200rpm hdd?

    thanks guys
