    Hello,

A friend of mine recently purchased a brand new VGN-CS11S_P notebook. All works fine except for the volume ‘Touch Sensor Buttons’ which are extremely unresponsive.

I’m referring to the strip of multimedia touch buttons as pointed out in this image:
    http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3401/3228536612_7a47e8f646_o.jpg

These multimedia keys should respond at the simple touch or slide of the finger tip.

The Fast Forward, Re-Wind etc., on the left seem fairly responsive but the Volume Controls on the right are so poor, that they are practically useless

Is there some kind of firmware update or sensitivity setting in some system software that I have overlooked? Is this a known issue?

    Many thanks for any help.

    Best wishes,

    Paul.

the sensor is not really sensitive. you've actually give a soft pressure and slide it (say you want to increase/decrease the volume lvl) to the sensor in order to get it work. its design this way.
