    Touch pad

    my friend having Sony Vaio VPCEH35en.
    while watching videos or while the processor was running at high speed the touch pad doesn't work.

    somebody please tell me is this either a software or hardware problem.

    then also tell me some solutions for rectifying these problems

    The problem is that the computer is lagging and so, the touchpad might work, but there's something making the computer so slow that the computer can't respond to the touchpad.

    Sounds like a software problem, but it's hard to diagnose the problem after it happens, but here's a few steps
    1) run a virus scan, I recommend Malwarebytes (free)
    2) update antivirus software, and if it's some ghetto thing, install MSE (microsoft security essentials, and uninstall the other one)
    3) open task manager (ctrl+shift+esc) and see if anything is taking abnormally high CPU time
    4) IF the thing happens again, open task manager and look what process is taking that much CPU time.
