    TouchChip Fingerprint Coprocessor

    Have a Valio Laptop, when i bought it 18 months ago it had XP and i created the 2 recovery disks, then i was sent a sony Vista Busness disk which i installed, , being retired i had my hard drive formated with the recovery disk and had Vista Ultmate installed and service pack 1. running good, but now the fingerprint software is not on Vista Ulimate, but showing the driver is installed, i put the recovery 1 disk in but it wants to put everything back to the factory settings, (back to XP) i got no software disks with the laptop, can anyone please tell me if i can get the software from the disk 2 ?

    You should be able to find everything you want on the Sony download site.

    Hi John
    Thank you for the info, been to the sony site you said, put the information it ask for my model and serial number, downloaded the utilies but i cannot see the software for the fingerprint, it has downloaded what was on it when i bought it, there is a list of programs but i dont know which one to select

    Found the program it is called Protector Suite QL but the folder is empty all the other folders have programs in them

    re-downloaded Protector Suite installed, but not compatable with vista sent me to download site but no update driver for it
