    Touchpad on VGN-FE790 does not work

    I tried everything, it still does not work. The problem might be that in Device Manager there are 2 mouse devices: MX510 (the one I use now) and 'Unknown Device' that is more likely a Sony Touchpad driver but somehow my computer does not recognize it. Any ideas on what to do?

    okey i had same problem before coz of second wireless mouse software.
    when i install my wireless mouse software that software will delate or uninstall the original vaio mouse software.my touchpad still work but but not same as before.like back ,forword,scroll.have you install the second mouse cd?

    i just have that problem today. I uninstalled the logitech driver, then install the Alps driver (can be download on esupport.sony.com), then reinstalled logitech driver. It worked
