I got a Sony Viao 14inch laptop (I don't know the model because I redeemed this using hotel points, but I think it's an E class, with that weird patterned back), and the mouse clicks next to the track pad is EXTREMELY loud. Does anyone else have this problem? How would I go about fixing it?

Sounds like it's catching on something... I think your best bet is to open it up and see if jiggling it around changes anything

Although if it's new, there's a possibility that it'll loosen or grow muffled with use (or enough time will go by that you'll grow accustomed to it).

The laptop is about 5 months old and from as far as I can remember, it's always been loud like this. Maybe I'll set it under a stamping machine and just have that press the button for a day and see if that does anything.

E's do click loud. Not much you can do about it...

(Does it have a model number on the bottom?)
