    Hi All,

I am attempting to troubleshoot an issue with the fuse blown on for my LED inverter on my VPCEC2C5E, however i am currently stuck on removing the motherboard from the case.

I am stuck on the keyboard? connection and the Video cable. Can anyone provide some advice to remove these?

Any advise or links to videos/guides would be great.
I haven't found much support for this model of Vaio..

    Thank you in advance.

    Mitch

here's how it was on my acer. can't see this being much different.

video cable - just pulled out, it required fair amount of force
keyboard - you have to lift the plastic clip and then just gently pull out the flex cable
the third cable just looks like it needs to be lifted up.

Thanks for the quick reply Kefan777, much appreciated.

I thought the video cable was just pull out. do you pull away from the motherboard or down (horizontal to the motherboard?)

The keyboard cable, I don't believe there is a plastic clip. I've uploaded a second picture, might make it a bit clearer?

Its hard to get a decent picture so i cannot move the motherboard anymore.

You need to remove whole keyboard to remove it cable and some other cables located below the keyboard before you can remove the motherboard.
Also, remove greenish tape on top of keyboard connector.
About video cable, just pick on black plastic and pull straight up.

It looks like this one. I will give it ago! Thank you :hi2:

Thanks Ngvuanh. I had a feeling i might have too, so its going to be very difficult to put it back in otherwise. Do you have any information on how to remove the keyboard on this model? Again there isn't much information on it!

Keyboard is hold by may clips around the edges.
When you remove the optical drive, you will see some clips.
Just push on the back of keyboard upward, it will be off some of clips to leave a gap between keyboard and the case.
From there, you can lift the keyboard from inside to remove it completely.
I don't see any instruction yet.
