Hello, I was wondering if anyone had the same problem. I have the sony tz190 with windows xp. For some reason I'm having trouble getting the cpu to throttle. It constantly stays at 1.2ghz. In notebook hardware control the adjustments are greyed out. Even with RMclock the cpu stays the say speed and I can't get it to go to 600ghz. It was throttling in vista. There is nothing in the bios. Thanks in advance.

Try the windows power options, and select laptop/portable.

That doesn't surprise me, seeing as how the highest anyone has ever gotten a cpu to is like 8GHz. So of course you can't get it to 600GHz :)
