I ran into a problem after few hours of attempt, and I can't seem to figure out how to do this.

First off, I need to get the XP drivers from Sony... but all they have are Vista Drivers!!! I searched in this forum, googled and everything but still no luck.

Second of all, I get the "No hard drives detected, the setup cannot continue." I know that this is caused because of the SATA drives, and I read that you have to slipstream the drivers using nLite. But I don't know which driver I need to slipstream. Can anyone help me out?

    Thanks!

Download this zip file and extract to a directory on your hdd. Tell nlite the directory and it will integrate the drivers. I believe they are the ICH9M-E/M sata and raid drivers but it works if you just include all the drivers. Slipstreaming these drivers and SP3 and burning a CD was the only way I could get XP to install. I tried XP Pro and Home CDs and even a slipstreamed USB thumb drive install but nothing worked except the nlite CD. As far as getting drivers for XP you are on your own. I got the ethernet and wireless installed and working but gave up after getting BSODs after installing ATI 3470 video drivers on my new VAIO SR. I'm going back to Vista Home Premium as its just not worth the effort at this point.
