This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    It's got an i3 processor = no turbo boost, it's got 3 GB of RAM, most come with 4 GB nowadays, it has a 320 GB HDD not SSD or 7200 RPM HDD just a plain and simple 5400 RPM HDD, it's got a DVD drive which i guess is expected on a 17 in laptop, the 17.3" screen is 1600x900... the Vaio Z (13" one) has the same resolution or better. And the GPU is weak, according to this list:

    it's #111. It's cheap because it's well, cheap to make.
