    Turn on laptop while on docking station without opening lid???

    Hello all,

    I was hoping someone with an SZ and docking station could test something out for me.

    I had a SZ 340 and know that it can be awaken from sleep by pressing a key on the keyboard. My complaint with the docking station is that you had to open the lid to turn on the power since the docking station has no power button. My question is, can an external USB or PS2 keyboard be used to wake up the sony from sleep mode? Or, is there another way to wake up the laptop without have to use the power button under the lid? Thanks!

    nope it dosent work when i try with an external keyboard.
