On the Vaio Power Management tab, I only have i.link, CD/DVD, Audio/Modem, and LAN listed for didable/enable function. How do I turn off all other things I don't need, such as the memorystick drive, or the built in camera? Also, what are some things I can turn off in addition to those listed above?

You can do so in the device manager but this is not as comfortable as the power manager.

yeah, dont think they allow those to be turned off. best things to shutdown is the nic and cdrom. that will give you the biggest saving on battery life

Thats what I did, I'm shutting the DVD drive off an disable the LAN. Screen on leel 3 and I get 3-4h of normal battery use while typing and surfing. WLAN is not affected by those settings so you can turn off the LAN and still use wireless.

You can safely deaktivate the msduo drive and other minor things too but you wont gain much over the power manager options.
