    Two new SZ models at Bestbuy

    The SZ220 and SZ230. Both are non premium, both come with 120 gigabyte harddrive and Cingular WAN standard. 100 Dollar price jump for each model (220 1999.99 and 230 2099.99). 230 has XP Pro while 220 has XP home. No big deal to me but just thought I would inform the peeps.

    why would anyone want a Cingular WAN card?

    they have almost no broadband market coverage .... ??

    I looked at the specs I think the newer models now have an 8x dvd burner instead of a 4x

    They write at 4x and read at 8x, at least for the premium models, for the others I'm not sure. They are the same speed optical drive as the SZ1xx premium series.
